Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd. participated in Joint Convention Semarang 2025 alongside PT Geoservices, connecting with professionals from Indonesia’s energy, geoscience and engineering sectors.
The convention provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our smart monitoring solutions, exchange ideas with industry professionals and explore the latest developments in geoscience, remote monitoring and engineering technologies.
Together with PT Geoservices, we engaged with visitors to discuss monitoring applications for geotechnical, structural and environmental projects while strengthening regional industry connections.
We appreciate the opportunity to be part of this event and look forward to continuing our collaboration with partners across the region.
Industry Talk: Slope Monitoring Systems ā Digital Transformation in Infrastructure Safety

Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd. was honoured to participate as an invited industry panel speaker at Bicara Industri: Sistem Pemantauan Cerun – Transformasi Digital dalam Keselamatan Infrastruktur, organised by the Smart and Sustainable Township Research Centre (SUTRA) under the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment. The programme brought together 176 participants from universities, government agencies and industry to discuss digital transformation in slope safety and monitoring technologies.
Representing Astral Terra Tech, P.Geol. Siti Nur Liyana Adzman shared practical insights on the implementation of compact real time monitoring and early warning systems for slope monitoring, particularly in remote locations where reliable communication is often a challenge. The session highlighted the importance of proper site assessment in determining monitoring objectives, selecting suitable instrumentation and identifying effective installation locations.
The discussion also explored how reliable data transmission plays a critical role in modern slope monitoring. While various monitoring instruments are available today, effective monitoring depends on ensuring that field data can be transmitted continuously and reliably to support timely engineering decisions.
We would like to thank SUTRA UKM and the organising committee for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to this knowledge sharing session. Showcases Smart Monitoring Solutions at Malaysia – Japan Joint Seminar on Disaster Risk Reduction

Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd. participated as an exhibitor at the Malaysia – Japan Joint Seminar on Disaster Risk Reduction, showcasing our smart monitoring and early warning solutions for geotechnical and environmental applications.
The seminar brought together researchers, government agencies, industry professionals and technology providers to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration in disaster risk reduction and infrastructure resilience.
At our exhibition booth, we introduced compact real time monitoring systems designed for rapid deployment in both urban and remote environments. Visitors had the opportunity to learn how reliable monitoring and communication technologies can support slope safety, environmental monitoring and early warning applications where conventional network coverage may be limited.
The event also provided an excellent opportunity to connect with industry professionals, researchers and potential collaborators while sharing Astral Terra Tech’s latest developments in remote monitoring technologies.

International Workshop on Digital Transformation in Slope Monitoring Systems

Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd. participated in the 1 Day International Workshop on Digital Transformation in Slope Monitoring Systems for Infrastructure Safety, organised by the Department of Civil Engineering (JKA) and the Centre for Sustainable and Smart Towns (SUTRA), Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Representing Astral Terra Tech, P.Geol. Siti Nur Liyana Adzman was invited as one of the speakers to present on the latest technologies in slope monitoring systems. The session covered practical applications of real time monitoring, field implementation and the integration of smart monitoring technologies to support infrastructure safety.
The workshop also featured presentations by En. Mohd Faiz Othman from Integrated PDP Sdn. Bhd. and Ir. Ts. Wan Muhammad Hafiz Zakaria from the Public Works Department (JKR), bringing together perspectives from industry, technology and government.
The programme brought together engineers, geologists, researchers and infrastructure professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in digital slope monitoring technologies.
The workshop was conducted under the ASEAN IVO SLOPE AI project with financial support from the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Japan.
Professional Technical Workshop Series – Development of Rainfall Threshold Development for Landslide Prediction

As part of our Professional Technical Workshop Series, Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd. organised a two day workshop on Development of Rainfall Threshold for Landslide Prediction.
The workshop focused on the development of Intensity Duration (IāD) rainfall threshold models for Landslide Early Warning Systems (LEWS). Participants were introduced to the principles of rainfall threshold development, data analysis techniques and practical approaches for establishing rainfall thresholds using actual monitoring data.
The session was conducted by Ir. Ts. Wan Muhammad Hafiz bin Zakaria, Technical Advisor of Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd., who shared his experience in rainfall threshold development and landslide monitoring.
The workshop was attended by engineers, geologists, lecturers and asset owners, providing an opportunity for technical discussion and knowledge sharing among participants from different professional backgrounds.
Astral Terra Tech is committed to supporting professional development through practical training programmes that promote knowledge sharing and the application of monitoring technologies in geohazard management.
International Conference on Slope (ICOS) 2026

Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd. participated as an exhibitor at the International Conference on Slope (ICOS) 2026, showcasing our smart monitoring and early warning solutions for geotechnical and slope monitoring applications.
Throughout the conference, we welcomed consultants, contractors, researchers, government agencies and industry professionals to our booth to discuss the latest developments in remote monitoring technologies and their practical applications for slope risk management.
We were also pleased to be joined by Ben O’Malley from Ackcio, who shared insights into wireless mesh networking technology and its role in reliable real time monitoring. The event provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how Astral Terra Tech’s engineering expertise, together with advanced communication technologies, can support monitoring projects in both urban and remote environments.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and took the time to engage with our team. ICOS 2026 was a valuable opportunity to strengthen industry connections and explore future collaborations in smart monitoring and geohazard management.
National Geologist Day Celebration 2026

As part of Geoventure Group, Astral Terra Tech Sdn. Bhd. participated in the National Geologist Day Celebration 2026, joining geologists, government agencies, academic institutions and industry professionals in celebrating the geoscience profession in Malaysia.
Exhibiting under the Geoventure Group booth, Astral Terra Tech showcased its real time monitoring and early warning solutions for geotechnical, structural and environmental applications. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about our monitoring technologies and discuss how digital solutions can support geohazard management, infrastructure monitoring and asset performance.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with industry partners, engage with fellow geologists and introduce Astral Terra Tech’s latest monitoring technologies to professionals across the geoscience community.
